How do I apply for Turkish visa to start my course?
Turkey requires invitation letter for the issuance of visa. Turkish Council provides you with the official invitation letter if you enroll in our Turkish course. What is the Turkish Language Course Visa and Residence Permit Program?
This program allows foreign students to study Turkish in Turkey for one year and prepare for university. The residence permit can be extended for one more year.
Why should I get a language course residence permit before starting university?
The residence permit allows you to legally stay in Turkey while exploring universities and preparing for entrance exams.
Do I need to take an exam to enter a Turkish university?
- Public universities: You must take the YÖS (Foreign Student Exam) or another exam accepted by the university.
- Private universities: No entrance exam is required; you only need to pay the annual tuition fee and be proficient in Turkish or English.
What is the application process?
- Prepare your documents: Send us your biometric photo and passport copy via WhatsApp.
- Receive the invitation letter: We will send your official invitation via DHL.
- Attend your visa appointment: Apply for a visa at the Turkish consulate.
- Travel to Turkey: After arrival, we will enroll you in our courses and help you obtain a one-year student residence permit.
What is the total cost of the program?
- Pre-registration fee: $300 (covers the invitation letter, DHL express fees, and general guidance; non-refundable).
- After arriving in Turkey: $930 (includes tuition fees, health insurance, residence permit, government taxes, card fees, courier expenses, and application services by an immigration advisor).
- Additional expenses: Accommodation and travel costs are not included.
Can individuals under 18 apply for this program?
No, only individuals aged 18 and above can participate.
What happens if my visa application is rejected?
Visa applications are at the discretion of the consulate, and there is a risk of rejection. The $300 invitation letter fee is non-refundable.
Can I travel to Turkey while my visa application is under evaluation?
No, traveling to Turkey while your visa is under review may negatively affect your application.
Can I extend my residence permit?
Yes, you can extend your residence permit for one more year.
Will I have a work permit while studying in Turkey?
The language course residence permit does not grant a work permit. However, after enrolling in a university, you may apply for a work permit under certain conditions.
Does the program provide accommodation?
